I am a couple months behind here. I am going to attempt to post about our 2012 Christmas adventures. We had 12 kids and 14 adults (all of Jared's siblings, their spouses, and children & Jared's mom and step dad) at our home for Christmas. Some very good friends of ours (that live right across the street) were gone for all of December and were very generous in letting us use their house to accommodate our large group. We had family from 5 different states in Arizona for 10 days. We celebrated christmas and executed a wedding. It was crazy, fun, and busy!
I am going to start out with a few pictures of the boys on Christmas morning. We had all the Austin family in our tiny front room opening Christmas presents. 12 kids and and 14 adults. It was a big party! :) Ethan's big present was a bike. Cameron's big present was a Thomas the Train train set. It was so fun to watch the boys get so excited about Christmas. Having children brings all the Christmas magic back into the holidays.
Here are the boys right after we woke them up...
Here are more pictures of Christmas Break.
Cousins!!! Devin, Austyn & Jaycie
Time with Grandpa Ed and Grandma Jean
Grandma Jean and Granpa Ed put on a Magic and Tricks Show for all the grandkids.
They loved it!
Talent Show Time...
Cameron ate marshmallows like a machine for his talent. He made sound effects to lift up and put the marshmallow in his mouth. It was so cute!
Ethan jumped off different chair sizes into a pile of pillows for his talent. Go Ethan!
After family pictures one evening the kids jumped in leaves.
Ninja Wars!!! Everyone dressed like Ninjas and we went to the church and made up a few games. It was a blast. My favorite activity of the break.
