We spent a nice quiet morning on "The Farm" with Jared’s Mom and her husband Ed. We ate breakfast and then toured “The Farm” (the property on which Mom and Ed live). Ethan fed a horse and got to swing on Grandma Austin’s swing, It was a relaxing day in contrast to yesterday’s San Francisco trip.

After naps and lunch we packed up and drove into Manteca to visit Jared’s family. We stopped by to see Jared’s Grandma Peters.

We also visited Jared’s Uncle Brad. It was so nice to see some of the family. After all of our visits we said goodbye to Mom and Ed. I hate to say goodbye. Goodbye's are always the worst part of travel. After our goodbyes we drove about 3 hours to Bakersfield, CA where we had reserved a hotel for the night and crashed!
